Royce da 5’9″ talks about Tee Grizzley dissing Eminem.
Royce da 5’9″ continues the promo run for his new album ‘The Allegory‘ as he made a visit to The Breakfast Club for an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee. On the show, Royce da 5’9″ revealed that (at 26:00) Eminem wanted to collab with Tee Grizzley before Tee dissing him on the track called ‘No Talking‘. “Marshall approached me about see Grizzley and he was like ‘yo do you I should jump on a record with him, you think I should put him on a record’.” said Royce, “I said yes but I think you should wait just a little bit until he gets maybe one more of those records just so they don’t give you the credit for him taking off. I want him to have all his credit and he was like alright.”
Royce continues, “So we were just sitting back watching him and then he came out with the Eminem diss, and then Marshall called me like what the f*ck, he was like he just burned the bridge and he ain’t even know yet. I hate to see people, the youngest make those kinds of decisions.“.
Nickle Nine stated to The Breakfast Club that he encouraged Em not to work with Tee just yet because they didn’t want Shady to “get credit” for bringing him on. Tee addressed Royce’s admission in a since-deleted video for his 3.8 million Instagram followers on Thursday (February 27). “Bro, what type of sh*t is that?” he said. “You told this nigga wait. If anything that’ll help both of us. It gon’ make him look like a big homie in the city and it’s going to give me some more pull in this industry.”
Tee Recently gave “Shout out to Eminem. Shout out to Royce,” Tee said. “I talked to Royce the other day. It was really just a big misunderstanding.”
