Nick Cannon interviews Kanye West.
The first part of Kanye West‘s new interview with Nick Cannon was released today and it shot from Kanye’s ranch in Cody, Wyoming. In the interview, Kanye addresses the speculations that he’s taking part in the Presidential elections to help the Republicans, Reading the Holy Bible back in 2016 during hospitalization, his presidential run, thoughts on planned parenthood, the GAP deal, and more.
During his 2016 hospitalization for the Saint Pablo Tour, West says “The first time I was put into the hospital in 2016, I actually started reading the Bible. That was part of what God hit me with. And you know, God… has a calling on all of us, and He uses us in different ways. I’m not going to lie to you, I like being cool. I didn’t go into an environment to come off uncool. … When I went to the hospital the first time, one of the things I wrote down was ‘start a church in Calabasas.’ And we sang Jesus’ name to the hills in the center of the city of Los Angels.
Later in the interview, West reiterates his anti-abortion attitude, suggesting that his statement at a South Carolina rally certainly motivated others to feel the same way. He went on to link his political party’s name, the Birthday Party, to his pro-life attitude. “The connection point to the Birthday Party is dealing with life,” he explained. “These are kids that are now going to get a chance to have birthdays.”
