Freddie Gibbs visits The Breakfast Club.
Freddie Gibbs’ new joint album ‘Bandana‘ with Madlib released a few weeks ago and he continues the promo run as he made a visit to The Breakfast Club for an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee.
Bandana, which was entirely produced by Madlib, is the follow-up to their critically praised 2014 album Piata, as well as their sixth effort as MadGibbs overall. Pusha T, Killer Mike, Anderson .Paak, Yasiin Bey, and Black Thought all make cameos on the album. With 18,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, Bandana debuted at number 21 on the US Billboard 200 and number 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
On the show, Freddie talks about the new album, having two baby mothers, learning new things about fatherhood, collaborations on the album, getting locked up in Austria for something he didn’t do and more. Watch it below.
