Eminem interview with Sway Calloway on his surprise project “Kamikaze”.
Eminem is one of those people who doesn’t do interviews because he doesn’t have to. He’s in the elite echelon of artists who don’t require press since he’s famous enough. Eminem’s new surprise project ‘Kamikaze‘ is #1 on the Billboard 200 right now with moving over 434k copies in the week. Eminem decided to do an interview for the new album as he sat down with Sway Calloway.
These candid moments are prevalent on Kamikaze, the surprise vengeance record developed in response to the hordes of Revival detractors. Em doesn’t hold any punches on the album, going straight for the jugular of anyone who had anything but great things to say about his prior release. Despite the fact that he explicitly calls out multiple people—rappers, pundits, and politicians alike—there was still a lot for fans to decipher in the aftermath of the 13-track Kamikaze’s crash landing.
On the show, he talks about why he released this album, his reaction to the criticism of ‘Revival‘, how it helped him push towards making ‘Kamikaze‘, and much more. He discusses his shots at Tyler, The Creator, Joe Budden, Machine Gun Kelly, and Donald Trump during the hour-long chat, while also opening up about the musicians he likes and admires, from Joyner Lucas to Drake.
In the end, he talks about his beef with MGK and more but the full thing will be on part 2. Watch part 1 below.
