Eminem’s 9th studio album ‘Revival‘ is out now which got mixed reactions and is expected to sell around 280-300k in the first week. He’s currently on the promo run for the project and made a rare sneaker shopping appearance for Complex. Eminem goes sneaker shopping with Complex’ Joe La Puma at Burn Rubber in Detroit where he also reveals that his Air Jordan IV collaboration is coming back.
Em and footwear presenter Joe La Puma discuss Em’s love of Air Jordans, Air Maxes, and others in this 9-minute episode. He talks about his Jordan Brand collaborations, particularly the prized Jordan IV collaborations that have sold for thousands of dollars at auction.
“I’ve always felt like shoes are like 90 percent of your outfit,” Em talks about his fondness for sneakers. “So whatever shoes you got on, if you’re wearing an (expletive) tablecloth, if you got some cool shoes, you’ll be respected for it.”
“Get your hustle on. It’s fine. What I do, when I get a pair, is I put them in my closet, then I sell them a couple weeks later. Anonymously online, so nobody knows it. That’s why I said I’m not mad at the people who do it — I’m kidding.”
Shoes, according to Eminem, make up 90% of an ensemble; they are really important. Eminem is a shoe collector who enjoys shopping for new shoes. When asked about his most recent cooperation, he stated that he buys a lot of pricey shoes, but that he occasionally keeps them in his collection for a while before surreptitiously selling them on the internet.
