Al Pacino was dancing on Eminem performance at the Oscars 2020.
This Wednesday night, the legendary Actor Al Pacino appeared at the premiere of his first TV Show. the new Amazon Prime series “Hunters.”. On the Red carpet, “Extra’s” Mark Wright caught up with Pacino to talk about the series. Al Pacino also talks about being at this year’s Oscars where he liked the surprise performance by Eminem, “I love Eminem. I happened to be standing up in the back, I brought my three kids and I was in the back… I saw Eminem and I just stopped and l looked at him.”
Was Al dancing to Eminem in the back? asked Mark, to which Pacino replied, “Yeah, I guess inside.”
The rapper performed ‘Lose Yourself’ at this year’s Oscars, though several viewers were perplexed by the timing of the performance, considering that there was no obvious connection between this year’s Oscars and the rapper, nor the film in which the song was featured, 8 Mile.
Eminem afterward said that he accepted the invitation to perform “Lose Yourself” at this year’s Academy Awards after missing out on the chance to do so after the song won an Oscar for Best Original Song in 2002.
Explaining his appearance, the rapper said: “I kinda figured maybe since I didn’t get a chance to do it at the time, maybe it would be cool. “Back then, I never even thought that I had a chance to win, and we had just performed ‘Lose Yourself’ on the Grammys with the Roots a couple of weeks before… so we didn’t think it was a good idea.” He added: “Back at that time, the younger me didn’t really feel like a show like that would understand me. But then when I found out I won, ‘That’s crazy!’
