Professor Green answers the funniest tweets about him.
UK rapper Professor Green recently sat down for a session with KISS FM UK where he answers some of the funniest tweets about him. In one of the tweets, a user said, “Everyone in the UK has that neighbour that only plays Eminem and Professor Green innit?”
“When I came out, everyone use to compare me to Eminem,” says Professor Green. “And my answer was always that if I rather be compared to anyone, then it’s Eminem, so I take Eminem any day. But when I was growing up, when I first got into rapping, it was Biggie that I love, I have always favored East Coast over West Coast, then Eminem was someone I listen to when I came out.”
Prof. published his most recent full-length album, ‘Growing Up In Public,’ at September of last year, and he’s been spending time in his home studio “wisely” over the previous several months. He exclusively told “I’ve been in the studio loads. It’s nice, because I’ve got a studio in my back garden so I don’t have to travel too far for work.”
Green went on to become a multi-platinum artist, with over 3.5 million cumulative sales in the United Kingdom. He was a previous co-host of Channel 5’s Lip Sync Battle UK. His autobiography was a New York Times best-seller, and he is a supporter of the suicide prevention organisation CALM.
