Twista praise himself with Michael Jordan’s comparison.
Twista has been in the rap game since the 1980s, and the rapper is considered to be one of the top rappers who rap fast. Tung Twista once hold the title for English-speaking rapper in the world according to Guinness World Records in 1992, after being able to pronounce 598 syllables in 55 seconds.
The legendary MC now was the latest guest on DJ EFN & N.O.R.E’s “Drink Champs” on Revolt TV, where he praises himself for his fast rapping.
On the show, DJ EFN told Twista that he hasn’t heard that style of fast rapping until he came out. “I think I put a stamp on it, I think I put my foot in it,” said Twista. “You got different versions of it [fast rap], I might consider myself the Michael Jordan version of it.”
Tung Twista, the Chicago rapper who used to rap as Tung Twista, released his debut album, Runnin’ Off at da Mouth, in 1992. Twista would continue to gain popularity in the city, eventually becoming a local legend in the Chi. Twista’s fourth studio album, Kamikaze, was released in 2002, and he attracted A-list emcees Ludacris and Kanye West for his first mainstream release. Twista’s first number-one single was the Kanye West-assisted “Slow Jamz,” which was also featured on Ye’s debut album, College Dropout.
