Trae Tha Truth talks about J. Cole’s “The Fall Off”.
J. Cole’s next album “The Fall Off” is one of the most anticipated rap projects, and Trae Tha Truth shares some details about the album, saying it will “shock a lot of people.”
Tha Truth recently made an appearance on The Breakfast Club, where he revealed that he heard the album and it is coming soon. “Don’t get it f–ked up… his album coming,” Trae said at around the 33-minute mark. “And when the album coming, it’s probably gonna shock a lot of people. Remember what I tell you all the time: a lot of people form opinions on a lot of things and they don’t fully know the situation. He’ll be aight. Before it’s too late, you never know what bro what may do.”
“One thing, man, I know he probably wouldn’t want me to say, but I’m going to clarify… I watch blogs and I watch headlines make it as if he [J. Cole] was just trying to get away or duck any type of situation,” Trae added. “And that wasn’t the case. What people have to realize is that’s just not the type of energy bro got. You know what I’m saying? He focused on him, he focused on his kids and just always stayed in his lane.”

He continued, “So everybody wanted to see him rumble and not knowing a lot of us came up together. We partners. So for me, being a real brother to him, you got to respect if somebody like, ‘Man, you know what, bro? I know I’m dope. I’m not questioning myself. I just feel like that’s just not the energy that I’m on.’”
Recently, J. Cole pulled up to Trae Tha Truth Day in Houston in July, where Truth gifted Cole a customized Dreamville bicycle.
