Timbaland talks about Missy Elliott and Eminem collab “Busa Rhyme”.
Timbaland remembers being shocked by Eminem’s bars on Missy Elliot’s song way back in 1999.
The legendary producer made an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid’s show on SiriusXM, where he was asked about Missy Elliott and Eminem’s song “Busa Rhyme”, and if she was the first female to collab with the Detroit rapper.
“When I heard Eminem come in there and spit that verse, I was like, ‘Oh, can’t nobody see this guy. This boy different.” he said, before rapping lines from Eminem’s verse. “Well, I do pop pills, I keep my tube socks filled / Then pop the same sh-t that got 2Pac killed… Those two bars… I couldn’t get past that,” he added.
The collab was produced by Timbaland, and appeared on Missy Elliott’s 1999 album “Da Real World”.
