Snoop Dogg speaks on meeting favourite actors at the Oscars 2022.
This year’s 94th annual Academy Award will forever be known for Will Smith and Chris Rock’s controversy, where the “King Richard” actor slapped the comedian for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Snoop Dogg, who was one of the celebrities who reacted to the incident on his social media, was also present at the ceremony and was star struck by meeting several actors at the Oscars 2022.
“So many celebrities there, I met so many people that I dreamed of meeting, actors and actresses, took pictures with people and It was a fun night, great night,” said Snoop in an interview. “I got a chance to just be a fan. I seen Katie Holmes, I seen Robert De Niro, I seen them in movies before and got the chance to actually tell them how much I appreciate their art. It’s cool to be a fan sometimes instead of being a star.”
“Sort of Kind of but I never know, still don’t know,” he said on if he thinks Will Smith slapping Chris Rock was staged.
When Snoop Dogg tweeted a video of his pal Will Smith hitting comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars, more than six million people watched. Although the rapper did not add a commentary to the video, the background voice implied that he believes the Hollywood celebrity was correct to slap Chris Rock.
