Snoop Dogg reveals Dr. Dre is making music for the “Grand Theft Auto” game.
Earlier this month, it was hinted that Dr. Dre will be contributing to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game later this year, and now Snoop Dogg has confirmed that Dre is indeed making music for GTA. Snoop Dogg is currently on the promo run for his upcoming album “Algorithm”, for which he will appear on the upcoming episode of Rolling Stone Music Now Podcast. On the show, he revealed that Dr. Dre is in the studio and making some great music.
“I do know he’s in the studio,” Snoop says in the episode, which will air October 29th and will be available as a podcast on November 3rd. “I do know he’s making great f**king music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game.”
However, Rolling Stone reports that the Rockstar Games representative decline the comment, and the company hasn’t announced a new entry in the GTA Series.
There are rumors that Dr. Dre will drop some new music after Snoop Dogg’s upcoming album, as part of the Aftermath takeover. The duo will also be headlining the Superbowl halftime show with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige in February 2022.
