Saweetie wants to work with Nicki Minaj.
Saweetie shows the desire to collaborate with none other than Nicki Minaj. In a new interview with PopSugar, Saweetie was asked about her dream collaborators, which she also named the Queen of Barbz.
In her response, she named Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Solange and Trina. “I think that something special happens when two worlds collide,” she explained. “When we’re making music we are putting our soul and our spirit into it. Women in a room together is just magical, I think it’s great that we create magical moments that the world can witness.”
Saweetie and Nicki Minaj have recently been in beef over the Barbie World song. According to Uproxx, the “Pretty Bi**h Music” artist doesn’t mind Minaj being ‘inspired’ by her ‘Icy Girl, Icy World’ sample on Ice Spice collab ‘Barbie World’. The alleged feud between the two started when Nicki allegedly stole the idea for her song “Barbie World” from Saweetie. Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice released their joint single toward the end of June for this year’s Barbie film soundtrack and it debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Just recently, Saweetie teamed up with YG and Tyga for the new single titled “Birthday” with production from Dr. Luke, Ryan OG, and KBeazy. The song arrived following the announcement of the trio “Str8 To The Klub” Tour which kicks off on September 21 in Sacramento, CA.
