Royce Da 5’9″ responds to The Game’s recent comments about Eminem.
The Game has been in the news recently after the rapper claimed that he’s a better rapper than Eminem. “Eminem is Eminem, I like Eminem,” he said on Drink Champs. “He’s one of the f**kin good Emcees, great Emcees. I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not, he’s not. Challenge it. Yes, I do [Want to do Verzuz against Eminem]. What you mean, yeah I do. The f**k you mean.”
The Compton rapper doubled down on his comments after Eminem’s recent historical RIAA Achievement, in which he became the number 1 singles artist in RIAA Gold and Platinum History. “All this talk I see on the net saying Eminem is better than me because he sold more records is like saying McDonald’s is better than Tam’s burgers, it’s FALSE !!! They just put more money in McDonald’s & promoted the sh*t out the happy meal dangling toys in kids faces,” he said in a tweet. “F**k how many records he [Eminem] sold, you sold or I sold. that’s just #’s on paper n some little awards that ain’t no bigger than my YMCA trophy’s,” he wrote.

Now Royce Da 5’9″ was also asked about his opinion on The Game’s recent statement about his other half of Bad Meets Evil. “I don’t think I remember a time when Game ain’t been top-tier with the raps,” he said in a live stream. “Game is a monster. He’ll just have his hands full. Em is a hard dude to out-rap because nine times out of 10, you gon’ be sending him your verse or when he get your verse, he gonna aim to out-rap you. He ain’t probably get out-rapped ever. I don’t care what the scenario is. That competitive edge is always there. Like, he never loses that.”
Mike Zombie, who has been working with Game on his new album, also appeared on the show and stated that he believes Game would hold his own against Eminem bar-for-bar.
