Outsidez's Young Zee Exposes Az Izz For Lying About Eminem

Young Zee reveals that Az Izz is lying about Eminem.

Az Izz of Outsidaz produced a diss track directed at Eminem a few days ago, then subsequently appeared on DoggieDiamondsTV to gloat about how his trash track forced Eminem to retire. Last week, Az Izz, one of the members of Hip-Hop group Outsidez takes shots at Eminem on his diss track called “What I Can’t Say” and later bragged about ending the Detroit Rapper’s career. He later did an interview with DoggieDiamondsTV where he talked about the whole thing. Now Young Zee, one of the founding members of the group, also appeared on the same platform for an interview where he exposes Az Izz for lying about Eminem.

Young Zee is a battle rapper who co-founded Outsidaz with Pacewon in 1991. He has firsthand experience working with Eminem and has had his own run-ins with him. He, on the other hand, is completely perplexed by the recent barrage of vitriol directed at him by a former band member, Az Izz. D12 and Eminem have a long history of collaboration with Outsidaz; they’ve released multiple tracks together, and Em is listed as an ex-member of the group by Young Zee. Marshall mentioned them on three tracks from his major-label debut, “The Slim Shady LP” (“Just Don’t Give a Fuck,” “Cum On Everybody,” and “As the World Turns“). When their verses from Eminem’s second album “The Marshall Mathers LP” were deleted from the track “Amityville,” Young Zee and Pacewon were furious. It is said to have happened because Dr. Dre wanted to cut down on the number of features on the album. Pacewon was loud about his discontent, but it appears that the problem was remedied over time.

Somebody sent me the link to that interview that you had with Az Izz and I just heard him saying a whole bunch of bulls**t,” says Young Zee. “I won’t be paying this little rat no attention but once I saw him talking about the origin of Outsidaz and all, I was like ‘bro why are you lying?’. If you got beef with somebody, talk about them, don’t talk about the Outsidez He said lots of stuff that’s totally not true, and this is all about the legacy of my group that I helped build from the scratch.”

Az Izz said a lot of stuff about Em that’s totally not true. How he used to hang out at my house with Em? I don’t even know What he talking about. He met Eminem, through Em coming out to chill and work on music, and in the process, he met Em. And now He thinks Eminem owe him something? he owes him nothing. Az Izz exaggerated his role in the group and he has no right to jump on Em for whatever reasons. He thinks Eminem stole his style? That’s a total lie.

Eminem put me on mad s**t. Az Izz never did a tour with Eminem. I did 8 tours. He put me on ‘8 Mile’ soundtrack, D12, I made millions of dollars with Eminem. Literally millions of dollars. He owes me nothing else, I owe him nothing. We are two people who rhymed together, that knew each other with respect of good rapping. He doesn’t owe me anything. We did what we did for each other for the love of hip-hop and for the love of each other as a person.

Young Zee and Pacewon established the hip-hop collective group The Outsidaz in 1991. They had a close connection to D12 because the two organizations had previously worked on several projects.

When Young Zee and Pace Won recorded lines with D12’s Bizarre for Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP album’s “Amityville” track, a schism arose between Eminem and Tha Outsidaz. According to reports, Dr. Dre felt that Eminem’s album had too many guest appearances, therefore Pace Won and Young Zee’s lines were cut from the song.

Eminem expressed his gratitude for fellow New Jersey rappers once again on wax:
Put a thousand lighters in the sky for the Outsidaz
Wow, I must have had Alzheimer’s
Long time since I shouted them out, ’bout time
‘Cause it’s been on my mind lately how
Zee, you always supported me
You vouched, I will never forget that and
How you guys accepted me for me and Pace
I love you too, you slept on my couch
And I’ve been thinkin’ ’bout the time
When I slept on the floor at The Outhouse
