Offset talks about the uncleared Playboi Carti feature for his new album.
Offset is all set to drop his long-awaited new solo album “Set It Off” later tonight, and the rapper made an appearance on The Breakfast Club as part of the promo run. The upcoming album was supposed to feature a guest appearance from Playboi Carti, but the rapper didn’t clear his vocals for the project.
During the conversation on Breakfast Club, it’s still all love with Playboi Carti. “Yeah, it’s true,” said Offset about Playboi Carti not clearing the feature. “Shout out to my boy. I don’t get into it with ni–as about music. Sometimes people be going through they own. Should have cleared it. It was nasty. No cap. I don’t mad at folks for that. It’ll all love. That’s my little bro.”
“You got to know your boys. You gotta know your homies. That’s why I don’t get into it with my homies. So I didn’t really hit him on that… I’m trying to move forward. It’s cool,” he added after Charlamagne asked if he tried to convince Carti.

Even though Offset failed to get the Playboi Carti feature, the album featured star-studded assistance from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Latto, Chloe Bailey and more.
