N.O.R.E. talks about Eminem in a new interview.
The Queens rapper and media personality N.O.R.E. recently appeared on MATHHOFFATV for a new interview where he talks about the battle rappers and their showmanship. N.O.R.E. also talked about Eminem and said that he could beat a lot of artists lyrically but can’t handle the showmanship of the battle rappers.
Will Eminem ever visit Drink Champs?
Noreaga shows the desire to have Eminem on his Revolt show Drink Champs. “How about getting Eminem or Jay-Z on drink champs? Those would be epic,” asks the fan. “You say it like its that easy lol!!!” responds NORE. “Alcohol isn’t the problem with Em, I want him to know he deserves his roses!!!” he added.
N.O.R.E. identified what Eminem lacks for battle rap that could cause him to lose the battle. “It’s about the showmanship and that’s something unfortunately in battle rap you can’t teach, that’s an experience,” says N.O.R.E. “For a seasoned artist (Eminem) that’s been 20 years in the game as an artist, it’s hard for that man to go back (to battle rap) and I think Eminem lyrically could beat a lot of people but I think the showmanship is going to kill him.”
N.O.R.E expressed his admiration for Eminem in an interview with VLAD TV a few years ago: “Eminem is the king in his own right, he’s changed hip-hop and before Eminem, all the white guys, besides Beastie Boys, were kind of dressed in black, kind of trying to be black. Eminem was the first white guy who was like, I AM WHITE. He actually, lyrically is on the level of Nas and great lyricists but his image is O.D.B (Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Eminem is our Elvis and I think we should claim that. I think Dr. Dre is genius for having the foresight for it.”
