NBA Youngboy says fame makes him cry a lot.
NBA Youngboy sat down with Bootleg Kev for a rare interview at his house in Utah’s Grave Digger Mountain. In between the conversation, the Baton Rouge rapper lit up a cigarette, and revealed that he’s been smoking since a very early age.
“Aye you can tell there’s smoke in this part of the house,” he told Bootleg. “I been smoking cigarettes since I was 7 years old.” “My god-dad, I think this ni–a ran away from the army. You know how you get a home pass? And that motherf–ker ran away to New Orleans because he didn’t wanna go back.”
“I guess during the time as he was at the house, I used to be watching that ni–a smoking cigarettes and every time he’d throw that bi–h I’d go grab it [to smoke what’s left].”
In the interview, Youngboy reveals he hate the fame. “I really, like, hate this sh-t,” he said. “This sh-t take a toll on me, my wife. I wouldn’t blame it on the industry. It’s how you go about it and I’m not that strong. I cry a lot. Literally. I’m at a point I know it’s okay.”
