Megan Thee Stallion addresses beef with Nicki Minaj.
Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj beefing for a few years now, and they reignited things earlier this year with shots through music. Megan now sat down with Billboard for a new interview, where she was asked about situation with Minaj, to which she revealed she doesn’t know the problem between them.
“I still to this day don’t know what the problem is,” Meg revealed. “I don’t even know what could be reconciled because I, to this day, don’t know what the problem is.”
On the song titled “Hiss”, Stallion seemingly fired shots at Nicki. Following the shots, Minaj released the diss track titled “Big Foot.” “This little beggin’ whore talkin’ ’bout Megan’s law / For a free beat, you can hit Megan raw / If you a ghost writer, party in Megan jaw / Shots thrown but I still ain’t let Megan score,” she raps. “Future made you pay / She wanna party with DaBaby while rubbin’ on Tory toupe / I guess she needed money bags for them Trey Songz / She G-Eazy, Carl made her crawl for it.”
In June, Stallion released her latest self titled album MEGAN, where she again seemingly dissed Minaj on the song “Rattle”. “See you doin’ good, wanna f–k up your energy (F–k up your energy) / Rich bi–hes better watch they back / ‘Cause they’ll f–k ’round, be laid up with your enemy (Girl),” Megan raps. “Damn, bi–h, it been four years (Four years) / Worry ’bout your man and your kid (Your kid) / Your life must be borin’ as f–k if you still reminiscin’ ’bout sh-t that we did / And I ain’t worried ’bout the bitter-bi–h link-up (Uh-uh) / Y’all h-es earned them seats in the fan club (Ah) / Ain’t got no tea on me, this h-e think she TMZ.”
In the interview, she was asked “I think you started this competitive rap energy we’ve seen in 2024 when you released “Hiss.” Do you feel you’re the reason MCs are rapping competitively again?”
“I would like to think that I start things,” she responds. “I don’t know; I just knew what I had to do and what I had to say. If it opened up the door for everyone else to get s–t off their chest, well, I’m glad.”
