LL Cool J Recalls Recording Murdergram Deux with Eminem At Dr. Dre's Studio

LL Cool J shares BTS story of “Murdergram Deux” with Eminem.

LL Cool J made an appearance on Capital XTRA breakfast for a new interview, where he talked about his first album in ten years “The FORCE”. During the conversation, he talked about making “Murdergram Deux” with Eminem at Dr. Dre’s studio.

“When I made “Murdergram” with Em. Q-Tip was playing a beat, he was messing around with a keyboard. I was like, “Yo, it would be perfect for me and Eminem”. I took a beat and texted it to Eminem, like, “What do you think?” He hit me back, “Yo, it’s crazy!” reveals LL Cool J.

He continued: “Then we went to LA, and we recorded it at Dr Dre’s studio. Dre gave us the keys from the studio, and we ran up in the joint and jumped to record the record and all that. And I just remember that vibe becoming such an amazing moment, the way it was sounding to me. Because the sound was so progressive and aggressive, and dynamic, and just so unexpected. It was that kind of moments.”

The Q-Tip produced “Murdergram Deux” was released in September, along with an official music video.
