Lil Wayne calls himself LeBron James of hip-hop.
Lil Wayne is one of the greats of the rap game, and while talking about the NBA, the rapper compares himself with one of the GOATs LeBron James. The rapper recently sat down with Bleacher Report, where he was asked about how he sees himself in hip-hop, while the conversation was around basketball.
I would say that I’m like a LeBron [James],” he says in response. “I started I dropped my first solo album when I was 14. The same album I’m talking that went Platinum. I’ve been doing this at this pace of higher ever since.”
“More Like Michael Jordan…Often imitated but never duplicated,” a fan reacts. “No he’s better. He’s the Kobe Bryant of rap,” wrote another. “I’m ok with that…Jay-Z is the Michael Jordan,” says another user. “Real Wayne fans know he said he’s not lebron he’s more Kobe Bryant of an artist,” wrote another fan.
