Kid Cudi addresses Kanye West’s beef in a new interview.
Kid Cudi and Kanye West, the longtime friends and collaborators parted ways earlier this year after Ye snapped at the Moon Man over his friendship with Pete Davidson, who was dating Kim Kardashian. The two have been firing shots at each other in the past months, and now Cudi addresses the feud in a new interview with Esquire.
“I’m at a place in my life where I have zero tolerance for the wrong energies,” he said. “I’ve watched so many people throughout the years that are close to him be burned by him doing some f**ked-up sh*t. And then they turn around and forgive him. And there’s no repercussions. You’re back cool with this man. He does it over and over.”

He continued, “I’m not one of your kids. I’m not Kim. It don’t matter if I’m friends with Pete [Davidson] or not friends with Pete. None of this sh*t had anything to do with me. If you can’t be a grown man and deal with the fact that you lost your woman? That’s not my f**king problem. You need to own up to your sh*t like every man in this life has. I’ve lost women, too. And I’ve had to own up to it. I don’t need that in my life. I don’t need it.”
The rapper then says that only a miracle would make him be friends with the GOOD Music boss again. “With all due respect, I’m not Drake, who’s about to take a picture with him next week and be friends again, and their beef is squashed. That’s not me. What I say, I mean. I will be done with you. It’s gonna take a motherf**king miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don’t see it happening. He gon’ have to become a monk.”
The rapper also took to his social media to make it clear that he wasn’t not dissing Drake. “Just to be clear, I wasnt tryna throw a shot at Drake. I got love 4 him. My point I was tryna make is that im not so forgiving. Meaning he might be a lil nicer than me in that situation w dude. Thats all. Maybe that came off wrong thru my words. So yea, all good w Drake,” he wrote.

Just recently, Kanye West again made fun of Kid Cudi while he took shots at Pete Davidson after his break-up with Kim Kardashian. Ye referenced Cudi’s recent Rolling Loud Miami performance, where he left the stage early after fans threw things at him.
Previously, Cudi and West were closely associated musically. Since 808s & Heartbreak, Cudi has made an appearance on each of Kanye West’s albums, although West has only done so on two of Cudi’s.
The two had previously spat over artistic issues then reconciled when they disagreed once again on Cudi’s friendship with Davidson. In a picture on Instagram from February, West included a Captain America: Civil War banner that had been altered to show Davidson, Cudi, and Kardashian as the opposition squad.
