Joe Budden responds to Eminem taking shots at him.
Joe Budden and Eminem had been beefing for some years now, and the Detroit rapper took shots at the former Slaughterhouse member on multiple songs. Budden was the latest guest on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion show, where he was asked why he never responded to disses from the Shady Records boss.
Math Hoffa was curious as to why Joe had never retaliated while the game’s greatest star was hurling shots at him. He discussed Eminem’s phrase from “Fall”: “Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it / Or have his body baggage zipped / The closest thing he’s had to hits is smackin’ b**hes.”
“That sh*t I don’t even remember,” says Budden. “I don’t have nothing to say about a Em diss. I don’t need an opportunity to diss a rapper. My action and my thought is because I have processed this myself. Awesome that a rapper [Eminem] with that magnitude threw it out there for whatever reason be, but the reason don’t matter. If I wanted to diss him and I could diss him. And if his name is attached, y’all know clickbait culture.”
The show also had Smoke DZA, Esso, Mr Mecc and Hynaken, who then went on to discuss The Game calling out Eminem for Verzuz battle.
