Joe Budden trashes J. Cole for latest song “Port Antonio” over ducking Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef.
J. Cole recently returned with a new solo song “Port Antonio” where he finally addressed the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Joe Budden now discusses the song on his podcast and slams the Dreamville boss for pulling out of the beef after dropping the “7 Minute Drill” diss track.
“What do you mean you’re ‘finally free’ as if you never wanted parts of the ‘Big Three’ conversation? That is a load of crap. I’m not gonna let you ni–as just piss me on and tell me it’s raining. Get the f–k outta here,” he said. “Don’t pop back up and say, ‘If I would’ve, I could’ve, but then I would’ve lost [a brother].’ Not over [same sample used on JAY-Z‘s] ‘Dead Presidents.’”
“I hate this soft Hip Hop sh-t. It’s soft, call it what it is. These Hip Hop ni–as is feeling like h-es out here,” he added. However, Budden did praise Cole’s rapping on the song. “My caveat: exceptional rapping. I’m saying two different points. This is exceptional rapping,” he said.

Just to attain some mo’,” he rapped.
