Jim Jones snaps at grown people who still watch cartoons.
Jim Jones was the recent guest on Complex‘s GOAT Talk Show, along with fellow Dipset members Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey. During the conversation, they were asked about the greatest animated movie of all time. While Juelz Santana chose The Lion King, Jones had some harsh words for cartoon loves, especially anime.
“I’m not an anime a*s ni**a,” Jim Jones began. “I stopped watching cartoons when them sh*ts was coming on on Saturdays. I don’t know what these ni**as be in they house doing. I don’t have time to sit down and watch a muthaf**kin’ two-hour cartoon. You ni**as is living in some other sh*t.”
“These ni**as ain’t got kids,” he responded when mentioned that people may be watching with their kids. “These ni**as is watching this sh*t with they homeboys. [Like,] ‘Ay yo, you seen the new anime?!’ You got Boku and Roku and whoever these ni**as names is. Like ni**a you want a cartoon tattooed on you, ni**a?”

The comments from Jones didn’t go well with the fans, as they trashed the rapper on social media. “Older NY Ni**as Trip On Everything,” a fan wrote. “ni**as love pretending they so busy lmao you are not Jay Z,” wrote another. “It’s unfortunate that he maybe never had a real childhood. Too busy hustling and tryna survive,” a fan wrote.
On a recent episode of The RapCaviar Podcast, Jim Jones shared his opinion that Big Sean is a superior rapper to Pusha T. The statement was made during a discussion about Billboard’s Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list, on which Pusha T is ranked 29th. Jones has been vocal with his controversial opinions in recent times.
