Fat Joe on Eminem Nobody Wants To Battle Eminem, He is Such A Perfectionist

Fat Joe says no one can battle Eminem.

The Quarantine Champs on Revolt TV is back with another new episode where N.O.R.E and DJ EFN are joined by Fat Joe, Lenny S, Jadakiss, and Styles P. N.O.R.E. recently revealed that Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, the creators of the Verzuz fight series, are planning a battle royale between Slim Shady and DMX, in which the two hip-hop legends would go head-to-head with a selection of their best songs. They talk about the current trending topic in the hip-hop community which is who can battle whom on Verzuz. They debated over possible combinations and at the around 20-minute mark, DJ EFN suggested a battle of Busta Rhymes and Eminem. While discussing the potential of a DMX vs. Eminem Verzuz battle on the Drink Champs Livestream with N.O.R.E., DJ EFN, and Lenny S, Fat Joe made it obvious that nobody can f**k with Slim Shady.

I think Busta against Eminem would be crazy,” said DJ EFN. Fat Joe, who once had a chance to sign Eminem & called it “the biggest mistake of his life” and a few months ago collaborated with him on “Lord Above“, responded to the suggestion, and said that no one wants to battle and go against the legendary Detroit MC.

The clash between Dark Man Unknown and Slim Shady became a matter to which the Terror Squad general swiftly interjected at the 20:00 mark of the video below.

“I don’t know who wanna battle with Eminem,” said Fat Joe. “I don’t think nobody gets to f**k with Eminem. Nobody. DMX? Nah. DMX got the biggest hits in the world, one of the greatest rappers of all time. Legendary. Iconic. Superhero. And everything I’m saying is understated. He’s bigger than that. But there’s something about that white boy and his fans. Nah, bro. You wanna see some crack on the Internet? He’s gonna crash, ni**a. That ni**a is carefree, bro.

Then N.O.R.E jumped in the conversation and put in an unpopular opinion that Eminem did not body Jay-Z on their collaboration ‘Renegade‘. A speechless Fat Joe responded and talked about Eminem’s fanbase.

I don’t even have an opinion on that,” said Fat Joe. “Eminem was hot when we came up. His fans from day one, they are 40-45 years old. These white people teach their kids that are ten years old that Eminem’s the greatest. You’re going to an airport and a 10-years-old are playing his sh*t like 45-years-old but like it just came out right now. It’s a big difference with this boy. It’s something different. This generation they keep teaching their kids that he’s the man, like the ultimate science. You meet little white kids 10-11-12, and they know every Eminem song as it came out today. It’s different.

Fat Joe Praise Eminem, Explains Why He’s A “Rap God”

Meanwhile, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer have been revealed as the newest celebs to duel on Instagram Live via Verzuz this weekend. “MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 5/23 @grunggaadzilla vs @kingbeenieman… Sound Clash edition. You ready?!? #VERZUZ,” a post on the rap battle venture’s website reads.

Real-life antagonism between the two dancehall titans peaked when Beenie Man married Bounty Killa’s former lover, Michelle Downer. They have now downplayed their disagreement and shared a stage at the 2019 Reggae Sumfest.

Then after a heated discussion on that Topic, Lenny S said that both the rappers bodied their verses. Fat Joe shares his opinion on Eminem’s approach to producing songs and called him a perfectionist.

Eminem is the only guy who sent me for ‘Leanback remix‘ that same verse 30 different times, saying it with a different tone. He wouldn’t make up his mind. 30 different takes. The same bars, Different flows, higher, lower. I don’t know what to tell you, this dude is such a perfectionist.

He ended by saying that if Eminem went on Verzuz, he would humiliate himself. Fat Joe couldn’t agree with you more. He reminded Charlemagne that Eminem had “the most devoted followers in the universe” who can “overpower any fandom in the comments” – and Verzuz agrees.

Charlemagne made a number of dubious comments, including: if Eminem were black, he would be Redman, and if Marshall went to Verzuz, he would be ashamed and fail because he lacks club bangers and songs to compete with other rappers. Charlemagne inquired, genuinely amused: What is he gonna play? “Hi, my name is”?! That’s gonna beat Lil Wayne’s “A Millie”? That’s gonna beat T.I.’s “What you know about that”? That’s gonna beat Jay-Z “You don’t know”? If it was battle of rhyming Eminem can take anybody but song for song? Eminem’s got no club bangers! What Eminem song plays in the club?

Fat Joe was kind enough not to bring up any No. 1 singles, which means that the amount of individuals who can even begin to compare themselves to Marshall is exceedingly minimal. However, he emphasised the importance of rap: There are different lanes for everybody. The reason why hip-hop is so beautiful is it’s so diverse.
