Watch Eminem Interview With Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1
After the release of Eminem’s MMLP2, Eminem sat with BBC Radio 1 Zane Lowe for an Exclusive Interview where He Speaks about the Writing process of MMLP2, Still Trying to Impress Dre Till Now, talks about the Track bad guy. He also discusses working with Kendrick Lamar & Rick Rubin for the First Time.
When Lowe asked “Seeing you with the band, and seeing you perform the other night at the awards show and seeing you on the mic, it was, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you more alive on the mic. It was full of energy and in the moment. What I noticed was as well was spitting live with the band behind you seemed to free you up a lot more. Are you feeling that way?”
Eminem replied “I think performing has gotten a lot different, it’s gotten better with the band because there’s just more elements to it and being it is a live show, there’s more places you can go with it. There’s things you can do with your hands, it’s really cool, it’s different. I think it’s better”.
Before getting serious, Eminem shares his sense of humor as he talks about burying hatchets and moving ahead with The Marshall Mathers LP 2. With the demand from fans to resuscitate Stan, his focus was on how to please both himself and others.
