Dennis Graham speaks on Drake’s silence on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The ongoing Israel-Hamas war is a trending topic around the world, and while some celebrities raising their voice on the whole issue, some stays out of all of this. Drake is one of the celebrities who hasn’t said anything about the Israel-Hamas conflict, and now his father Dennis Graham defends his son’s silence.
“I’m sure it affects everybody, you know what I’m saying?” he told TMZ. “But just stay out of it, especially if you’re somebody that’s well-known.” “But be a celebrity and favour one against the other, and it’s going to come back on you. Stay out of it,” he added.
The statement comes following DJ Vlad calling out Drake and DJ Khaled for their silence. “It’s a serious topic. And when I sat back and looked at it, I was like, ‘Drake is the most famous Jewish person on Earth’ and Khaled is the most famous Palestinian in the world. But neither one of them has said anything about this at all.”
“Drake is doing this whole thing where he’s literally writing paragraphs about Joe Budden because his feelings were hurt about an album review. So it’s not like they don’t have time. This sh-t runs deep.”

However, Drake’s good friend and OVO producer 40 did show support for Palestine. “This is what colonialism looks like. It’s what it’s always looked like. When will this stop? When will life win over death? The world did not come and stand with the Jewish people during the holocaust. Now we watch as the world does not come and stand with Palestine. I’m ashamed and devastated by it all.” “WE ALL KNOW TOO WELL THAT OUR FREEDOM IS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT PALESTINES FREEDOM.”
