Reggie Noble said that he honestly believed neither outdid each other. “We both had our moments,” Redman says. “On that record, we was going IN…I listened to it and we was both gettin’ it in.

Later Vlad told Redman that Marshall has named as one of his top all-time favourite MCs on which Redman says, “Yeah, and he’s one of my top, too. A lot of people was mad at me too, for saying Eminem was one of my top, but, yeah, I can say that… It’s because of his work ethics. I like his work ethics.” Redman continues. “Album for album, he was bangin.’ I don’t care about the Grammys. I don’t care about all the awards he won. His dedication, his hard work, his seriousness on every album, very competetive…I wasn’t disappointed. He’s just like me.

His f**king first six albums, he was dropping them b**ches. Maybe one of them not as popular as the next one but it still did numbers. Yes white race support him more! Yes he’s white, yes! But is he nice? YES ! Did he get respect by Black Culture or any other culture, Chinese, Mexican? YES. Cause he’s nice! So yes he’s one of my top, just like I am his.

At the end of the conversation, Redman reveals reasons why he and Em haven’t collaborated since, thereby opening the door for future collaborations. He also discusses his experience in the studio with Dr. Dre, emphasizing his admiration for the Good Doctor.
