Daylyt on Why He Loves Prime Eminem & The Problem With His Current Music

Daylyt talks about the prime Eminem.

Rapper Daylyt recently did a live stream where he talks about why he loves Eminem’s prime music and his iconic Academy-winning song “Lose Yourself”. “What Eminem does with his rhyme pattern is so amazing bro,” says Daylyt. “The passion he puts in his verse is so fire. Prime Em, this ni**a’s fire bro. I’m listening to this song [Lose Yourself] and I’m thinking of the setup of the record. The Setup of the record is, His palms are sweaty, his knees weak, arms are heavy. As a battle rapper and a person that has stepped into any battle, or any sport, this song spoke to you.

Then he explains why Eminem shouldn’t try to fit in the new rap. “I just went through Em’s old catalog and then I went through the new catalog and I realize what is the problem with Em right now. Em is growing mentally spiritually physically. He can’t rap about the things he rapped about anymore. But mainly what is hurting Eminem right now is beat selection. Em is trying to do what he normally does over modern beats and he’s trying to add the modern style production inside of his ability. And that’s becoming like, when you add water and oil together, it doesn’t mix.

In addition, Daylyt, a battle rapper, recently sat down with VLAD TV to discuss Eminem’s role in hip-hop. Here’s what he has to say about it:
Gucci Mane said Eminem’s not the king of Hip-Hop and he’s not lying. Eminem is not the king of rap. He’s most definitely a king of wordplay. There is a lot of people who don’t relate to Eminem. A lot, like, a lot. The super urban community don’t bump Eminem. Black community likes Eminem and I say this because I’m Eminem fan. I’m speaking as fan’s perspective so in the comments don’t judge me as an artist hating another artist. We like Eminem for his wordplay. We like that he’s able to put words together like no other I’ll give him that. As far as he puts words together and makes things rhyme, syllables and stuff like that, he’s the best. One of the bests. But as far as actual content matters, no. Whenever Eminem tries to go very content-based the world doesn’t f**k with it. Because he already built his world on what they like from him.

Earlier this year, Daylyt requested Eminem to come back to battle rap and showed desired for a battle between Em and Dizaster.
