Dame Dash Says Jay-Z Didn’t Diss 50 Cent Because of Eminem’s Influence.
Dame Dash has shared another bold opinion about Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Eminem. During a recent interview with Cam Capone News, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder explained why he believes Jay-Z left 50 Cent out of his recent Roots Picnic freestyle.
According to Dame Dash, the reason has nothing to do with music. He believes Marshall’s influence and close relationship with Fif played a major role. While speaking in the interview, Dame Dash claimed that Hov would not go after 50 because Shady is standing behind him. He also brought up the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show to support his point.
Dash said: “He didn’t diss 50 Cent because Jay-Z is not bigger than Eminem. So, 50’s boss is Eminem. Jay doesn’t have more power than Eminem. He tried to blackball 50 from the Super Bowl. Eminem just made the call. Eminem makes that call and he’s white.”
The comments quickly started circulating online, with many hip-hop fans debating whether Dame’s opinion has any truth behind it.
Dame Dash Compares 50 Cent To A Movie Character
Dame Dash also spoke about the relationship between Eminem and 50 Cent. He compared the G-Unit rapper to a famous character from The Godfather, saying Eminem’s support gives him extra protection in the rap industry.
He said: “And if you ask 50 who’s the best, that’s a black man quickly saying that a white man is the best at a black sport. So to me he’s Luca Brasi to Eminem. He’s like hired to go.”
His comments suggest that he believes 50 Cent’s connection with Eminem gives him a unique position that other rappers may not want to challenge.
