Conway The Machine Reveals He Recorded 5 To 6 Albums Material While Making Won't He Do It

Conway The Machine talks about making his new album “Won’t He Do It”.

Conway The Machine finally released his new album “Won’t He Do It“, and the rapper revealed that he recorded songs worth five to six projects while making the latest effort. During his new interview with Rolling Stone, Conway first addressed other artists trying to copy their style and direction.

“Everybody trying to rap over the same type of beats we was rapping on. People was taking our cover art direction, our whole thing that made us us. It seemed it was getting watered down some,” he said. “I don’t even like them kind of beats no more. It was boring me. I fell back, but I got that feeling back again like the good old days at Daringer’s house.”

The former Shady Records emcee then revealed he recorded “five to six albums worth of material” after going to Denver last year. “I would lock myself in the studio down in Denver with my boy, Rocky,” he said. “Just out there having shrooms, and it was a good time. It’s just an unreal magical vibe down in Denver. [Denver] unlocked something inside of me, man. I feel alive.”

The new album follows up recently released “Pain Provided Profit“ with Jae Skeese, and last year’s Shady Records album “God Don’t Makes Mistakes“. It featured appearances from Ransom, Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn and more.

Conway The Machine’s debut Shady Records album featured Beanie Sigel, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and more.

During an interview, Conway revealed Eminem has no input on the album. “Yeah [Em gives feedbacks]. I went to Detroit and I was in Em’s studio, Em, Paul [Rosenberg], Royce and played them the album front to back and Em f**ked with every record, he was like ‘this is ready to go’. And that’s when he jumped on “Bang“. That was the critique, like ‘yo this sh*t is f**kin amazing,’ This is ready.”
