Chris Brown recently dropped the Deluxe Version of his album Breezy.
Chris Brown has credited a variety of musical influences throughout his career, including Lil Wayne and Michael Jackson, who he considers to be his idol. Brown, like many Hip Hop enthusiasts, is prepared with an answer when asked to choose his fictional Mount Rushmore, but he also recognizes how difficult the topic may be.
When asked the crucial question while addressing the LA Leakers, Brown took a little pause before providing an original response. Brown states “JAY-Z, Nas, Big L, and 2Pac.” One New York MC was swapped out for another after he gave the response some more thought.
“Skrrt, put Biggie in the spot of Nas,” Brown added. “I love Nas, damn, it’s f**kin’ up… Damn, hold up I’m sorry. Rakim in there too, I’m sorry. That’s all mine. Everybody I said, those are in my Mt. Rushmore. I made my own Mt. Rushmore.”

It’s usual for 2Pac and Hov to appear on Mt. Rushmore. The same can be said about Nas and The Notorious B.I.G. Breezy’s citation of Big L aroused a lot of questions because the Harlem rapper was just about to explode even more when he was tragically shot and killed in 1999.
Brown anticipated that his Breezy album, which was released on June 24, will garner the same adoration and excitement from his fan base as his past albums and would debut in the top three on the Billboard 200. Breezy sold an anticipated 84,000 album-equivalent copies, but Brown disregarded the number, saying that people support him more when he is successful than when he is in the news.
“July 8th breezy deluxe album,” he wrote in his Instagram Stories while announcing an extended version of the album. “Not that it matters…SEEMS LIKE YALL ONLY INVEST IN THE NEGATIVE STORIES ABOUT ME. CHRIS GETS IN TROUBLE (THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON it). Chris drops album [crickets]. I’m back on my gangsta sh*t. It’s BRACKING at all times.”
