Charlamagne Tha God discusses Snoop Dogg & Eminem feud.
In the recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God talk about the Snoop Dogg and Eminem situation. They discuss Daz Dillinger saying that Snoop Dogg was declined to do a record with Eminem, which he took personally.
DJ Envy: As he should have, he should’ve took it personally. As much as Snoop did for all of them and helped him, yeah and I asked you to get on my album and you told me no, I would take it personally too.
Charlamagne Tha God: Why the hell is Eminem so sensitive? Eminem would get on the record and say what he wants about people for years. But as soon as Snoop says Em’s not in his Top 10 and Snoop was objective. Snoop said Eminem is in a lot of people’s Top 10, he’s not just in mine.
Eminem has killed so many pop artists in his music [Everyone laughs]. Why is he so sensitive about this situation?
Angela Yee: I think it’s because he thought they were cool with each other. It’s different when it’s somebody you don’t care about and they say something about you and you’re like damn where did that come from.
Then they talk about that Eminem has a problem with Snoop Dogg’s tone in that interview.
Charlamagne Tha God: I’ll say this, Eminem must be tone-deaf, because he hasn’t heard his own tone over the years if you don’t like somebody’s tone all of a sudden. C’mon man, you are Eminem. Knock it off. He’s hypocritical especially that he’s said what he’s wanted about people for years.
Snoop Dogg and Eminem may be at odds, according to Daz, since Snoop asked Em to feature on his record, which he turned down.
In addition, Charlamagne Tha God featured on the most recent edition of The Brilliant Idiot, where he discussed TikTok’s Gen Z, who is attempting to cancel Eminem due to problematic lyrics, with Andrew Schulz. “TikTok is trying to cancel Eminem. I think it’s funny as f**k when kids go back to the eras where they should not be even playing around. If you were talking to a child, you will be like ‘don’t go in that 90’s box.’ Thy are just playing old Eminem lyrics and doing what outrage culture does. Trying to build a case against Eminem. But I’m going to tell you why it will never work. THAT’S EMINEM’S WHOLE STICK”, said Charlamagne Tha God.
