Boi-1da shares his favourite Drizzy albums.
Boi-1da has been working with Drake over the years, and also worked as OVO’s in-house producer. The producer made an appearance at the 65th annual Grammy Awards, where he caught up with HipHopDX at the red carpet.
During the conversation, the Jamaican-Canadian record producer was asked about his top favorite albums from Drake. “It’s not that I’m ranking the catalog, Take Care is probably my favorite album by him. Take Care, Nothing Was the Same and If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” he said.
He continued and gave appreciation for 6 God’s fourth studio album “Views”. “Views is like incredible,” he said. “He just has so much incredible bodies of work it’s tough to say like, ‘Oh, this is my top.’”
Over the years, Boi-1da and Drake have collaborated on several joints, including songs like “God’s Plan,” “0 to 100,” “Pound Cake,” “Energy,” “Know Yourself,” “The Language,” “Summer Sixteen” and more.
Despite Drake’s decision not to submit his music to the Recording Academy for consideration, the 36-year-old producer received six Grammy Award nominations, largely due to his contributions to Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous album.
