Azealia Banks makes some remarks regarding Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
Azealia Banks once again makes some statements on social media, and this time she targets Queen of Barbz Nicki Minaj. In a series of IG stories, Banks claimed that Nicki cried for friendship with the WAP hitmaker.
“U can’t be crying for cardi b’s friendship,” Banks said. “And still almost six years later, not having been able to realize that she’s beating you not because she’s better – but because she’s FUN and FUNNY. You cried because cardi wouldn’t be ur friend. We know u like her as much as we do..It’s okay to appreciate what she brings to the table.”
“Ugh, Nicki, please stop doing these trash collabs,” she added.
Banks then asked Minaj to divorce her husband, Kenneth Petty. “I’m sorry, but no man who loves you is gonna let you sit around on instalive and scream misinformed obscenities at the top of your lungs while his kid is in the other room. That man was sent to MAKE SURE YOU DESTROY YOURSELF, and you need to realize this asap, including divorcing that enabler man,” she wrote.

Last month, Banks also attacked Doja Cat and Kendrick Lamar with a series of stories on her IG. “I really be wanting to like Doja’s music but it’s all just sooo try hard,” she began. “Her first album was actually cool as hell….it was her own authentic art voice. Doja doesn’t have the theater training/authentic hunger needed to seamlessly be the master of genre she’s trying to be. She sounds like a white girl that grew up in a house. It’s not giving that pi**y stairwell/bacon egg and cheese/vanilla dutch nyc energy she’s reaching for. But it’s also def a cali thing. California rap culture is simply just not as dynamic/impactful/swagged out as east coast/southern rap culture sh*t.”
