Kendrick Lamar brought out J. Cole in Detroit.
K.Dot is traveling around the country currently for his DAMN. tour and tonight his show was at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit. During his show, he surprised the crowd with an unexpected guest as he brought out J. Cole. He appeared from under the stage in a lift to perform his hit ‘Deja Vu‘ from his latest album. He also performed ‘No Role Modelz‘ from his previous album.
He started with “Deja Vu,” then moved on to numerous songs on his third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Cole invigorated the boisterous audience with performances of “A Tale of Two Cities” and “No Role Modelz.”
Fans have been anticipating the release of Lamar and Cole’s collaboration album for years. During an interview with The Breakfast Club last year, Ab-Soul acknowledged the existence of the enigmatic project. “They got it. They got something in the works. They’ve been working on that motherf–ker for a while,” said Soul.
