Juice WRLD freestyles on Tim Westwood Tv.
Juice WRLD made a visit to Tim Westwood’s show on Capital Xtra radio to show his freestyle skills. He freestyle for over 50 minutes over Eminem beats which includes like ‘Just Lose It’, ‘My Name Is’, ‘The Real Slim Shady’, ‘The Way I Am’, ‘Lose Yourself’, ‘Stan’ and more.
There are a lot of memorable moments in this hour-long freestyle, but one of the most defining moments of Juice WRLD‘s illustrious career is when he doesn’t wear out and keeps delivering fire after fire after fire.
On the one-year anniversary of this freestyle, we reflect on Juice’s extraordinary ability to float over any beat thrown his way, frequently coming out of the studio with a hit.
Juice WRLD and Eminem went on to collaborate on the hit song “Godzilla“, which was released posthumously after the death of the Chicago rapper. The song appeared on Eminem’s eleventh studio album “Music To Be Murdered By” in 2020 and also had a music video with direction from Cole Bennett.
“We had been talking about Juice Wrld for a little while. And we just wanted to do something with him,” says Eminem in Podcast with his manager Paul Rosenberg. “The one thing that I showed you of him, he was rapping over some of your instrumentals. It was Westwood, and he was crushing these old Eminem instrumentals. I was like yo you gotta hear this kid, he’s destroying your record. So you were excited about it, you liked it and we thought there’s gonna be an opportunity for you to do something with him one day,” says Rosenberg.
Eminem continued, “I remember I had a different hook on it (Godzilla) and I never was really crazy about it. I think that I had the verses and that was the kind of the reason we just asked him if he would do the hook. He sent us back two things that were great and the first one was that Monster hook. I was like ‘holy sh*t.’” “What a talent,” responds Rosenberg.
