H.E.R. & Daniel Caesar performs ‘Focus’ & ‘Best Part’ at the 2018 BET Awards.
The Vallejo, California-based single H.E.R., who’s signed to RCA Records, took the stage earlier tonight at the 2018 BET Awards to perform her song called ‘Focus‘. She later brought out Daniel Caesar for their song called ‘Best Part‘.
H.E.R. usually avoids the limelight, so having the “Focus” placed firmly on the mysterious R&B artist at Sunday’s (June 24) BET Awards was a welcome surprise. With the song “Focus,” she opened her show on a smoke-filled stage with a stunningly simple performance that focused all attention on her beautiful voice. She then took up the electric guitar and shredded it as the blue light flashed around her through the smoke, giving her her own Prince moment.
With “Focus,” off her self-titled debut album, released in October 2017, the 20-year-old Vallejo, California-based singer made her Billboard Hot 100 debut in April.
