Eminem returns to BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher, take shots at Trump
Eminem isn’t a fan of Donald Trump, and he let everyone know it on Tuesday night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards with a banging rap cypher. After the announcement earlier today by DJ Khaled and Eminem himself, Shady returns to the BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher to spit a brand new freestyle. Eminem went solo without any Slaughterhouse or any other shady members around him and directed his whole Acappella freestyle towards the President Donald Trump. In the freestyle he acknowledged Colin Kapernick, told his fans to pick a side if they’re on the fence and more.
The president’s remarks about raising a fist “for Colin” Kaepernick were also brought up by Eminem, who drew a comparison between the president’s critical analysis of the protests for disrespecting the military and his earlier remarks, in particular when he made fun of Senator John McCain for being a prisoner of war.
Marshall Mathers takes down the pres for his obsession with athletes taking a knee, his twitchy button finger, and his luxury lifestyle in the prerecorded rap “The Storm,” but it’s more like a hurricane as he takes down the pres for his obsession with athletes taking a knee, his twitchy button finger, and his luxury lifestyle. And there’s a lot more.
“He’s a kamikaze who’ll probably spark a nuclear holocaust,” the hip-hop sensation adds, adding that “racism is the one thing he’s wonderful for” before belting out the line on Trump. “When he attacks the NFL so we focus on that/Instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada/All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather/Cause a Twitter storm with the Packers/Then says he wants to lower our taxes.”
There was no announcement regarding his new project. Check out the full freestyle below which is called “The Storm”.
