Eminem performed on BBC Radio 1 with Skylar Grey & others.
Last night, BBC Radio 1 showed the exclusive Eminem performance which was shot recently when he was in the U.K. for some promotion of his latest album. Eminem made an appearance on BBC Radio 1 last Friday (Dec. 15) after releasing Revival, his first album since 2013, and playing a four-song medley with regular collaborator Skylar Grey.
Eminem took the stage for Annie Mac and performed his songs called “Berzerk“, “Won’t Back Down“, “Love The Way You Lie“, “Stan” and “Walk On Water” from his latest album, with some help from Skylar Grey, Mr. Porter, and Alchemist. Eminem’s 9th studio album ‘Revival‘ is out now and is No. 1 on iTunes around the globe.
To say the least, the medley was powerful, deep, and emotional — particularly during the performance of his excellent single “Stan,” from 2000’s “The Marshall Mathers LP”. Skylar’s voice and piano skills gave the stage an angelic, serene atmosphere. Mr. Porter, a former member of the D12 band, also appeared on stage with the rapper.
Eminem’s ninth straight number-one album on the US Billboard top chart, Revival, debuted with 267,000 album-equivalent units, 197,000 of which were regular album sales. Eminem made history by being the first artistic to have 8 straight albums make their debut at the top. According to the Billboard 200, Revival was the 32nd most successful album of the year.
