6LACK Freestyles on Sway In The Morning Show.
Atlanta rapper 6LACK made a visit to Shade 45 for an interview with Sway on his show Sway In The Morning. On the show, the rapper decided to drop a freestyle as spits some bars over Travis Scott’s ‘Coffee Bean‘ instrumental.
“It only takes a couple of bars for me to warm up, show up, show out, all over the place like a Nicki M rollout,” raps 6lack, “shoutout to the Barbz but don’t be in my comments, spamming with no unicorns f**kin’ up my conscience.” Though he prefers a more melodic approach most of the time, the man is undoubtedly a great rapper with a keen sense of lyrics and flow. We can only hope that his new East Atlanta Love Letter project sees the Grammy-nominated artist demonstrating the breadth of his toolkit. According to rumours, the album will be released on September 14th.
6lack launched his globe tour earlier last month, starring Tierra Whack, Summer Walker, THEY, and Boogie. The 34-city tour begins on Oct. 5 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and concludes on Dec. 21 in Atlanta.
6lack was also recently seen in the video for his appearance on Khalid’s song “OTW,” which also featured Ty Dolla Sign.
