After Dropping his First Statement ‘I‘ as he says on Power 106, Kendrick Lamar continues Promoting his Song as he made a visit to the LA Leakers show. On the show, K Dot spits bars over in a freestyle called “Lunch Table“.
While we’re still debating whether or not “I” is the first single, Kendrick is continuing to promote the song. He performed a freestyle with the L.A. Leakers on Power 106 L.A.’s Lift Off show. Listen to him spout bars while Mars bangs on the table to make a beat.
Kendrick went back to basics when speaking with the LA Leakers, releasing a brief but dope freestyle over a track that sounds like a “Lunch Table” rhythm, which you can listen to here.
Kendrick Lamar wrote the song “i”, which was performed by Ronald Isley of The Isley Brothers. On September 23, 2014, it was released as the first single from Lamar’s third studio album, To Pimp a Butterfly.
