Ed Sheeran Raps Eminem’s “Criminal”.
Actor Chris Pratt demonstrated his mastery of Eminem’s legendary “Forgot About Dre” line in August of 2014, While Ed Sheeran’s take on Em’s “Criminal” doesn’t quite match Em’s lyrical perfection, it’s still a solid imitation.
In a recent sit down with France’s Clique.tv, he awkwardly raps over Eminem’s track ‘Criminal‘ which is the last track of Eminem’s Grammy-winning album Marshall Mathers LP. Ed Sheeran is a Hip Hop and Eminem fan since childhood as last year he revealed that his dad brought him Marshall Mathers LP when he was nine years old and he learned every word of track which helped him overcome his Shutter problem.
Sheeran raps the lines: “Windows tinted on my ride when I drive in it / So when I rob a bank, run out and just dive in it / So I’ll be disguised in it / And if anybody identifies the guy in it / I hide for 5 minutes / Sh*t, half the sh*t I say, I just make it up / To make you mad so kiss my white na**d a** / And if it’s not a rapper that I make it as / I’mma be a f**king ra***t in a Jason mask”.
Ed loves covering Rap Songs as he has freestyle songs like OT Genasis ‘Coco‘, Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself‘, ‘The Real Slim Shady‘ a few years ago.
Sheeran isn’t the only music artist who has recently turned to rap. Adele made headlines recently when she rapped Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” lyric for James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke.”
