Yo Gotti unveils a new song and video “Steppas”.
Yo Gotti is prepping the release of the CMG compilation album, which is scheduled to drop next week on July 15th. Today, the rapper shares the first taste of the project, with a star-studded track called “Steppas”. The song features assistance from Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy and Blac Youngsta.
The song is accompanied by a milliatry-inspired music video, which does not feature an appearance from incarcerated 42 Dugg. It also features cameos from CMG’s latest signee GloRilla, along with Blocboy JB, Lil Migo, Lehla Samia and more.
“Diamonds crazy, you ni**as fugazi, I ain’t never been lazy / Count up the million, hand for hand, band for band, gram for gram / I can go Cullinan for Cullinan, I can go Lamb’ for Lamb’ / I can go mansion for mansion, I can go acres in land,” raps Gotti.
Yo Gotti teased the collection earlier this week on Instagram Live. “On the real, I think it’s about time. Everybody keeps asking for it, like, you know, ‘When we gon’ do a tour? When we gon’ do a project together?’” he said. “I think it’s about time, man. All the songs we’ve been recording together. All the late nights. We got crazy, crazy, like, crazy songs, so I think we should just gon’ drop the whole CMG project on these people, man.”
