YG shares the new song “Scared Money” with J. Cole & Moneybagg Yo.
After announcing it earlier this week, YG makes his return to the music scene with a huge collaboration. The Compton rapper connects with J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo for his brand new single called “Scared Money” which will appear on his upcoming album. This follows up his previous offering “Sign Language“. The new single comes along with an accompanying music video.
“These ni**as pray to God to make it on the ShadeRoom / Meanwhile I made it on the “Bi**h, I’m hella paid” room / Road blocks when Cole drop, they push back they rollouts / That’s right pu**y, make room, stay tuned, ni**a,” raps Cole.
J. Cole’s current guest feature run comes to an end with “Scared Money.” Cole has collaborated with Wale (“Poke It Out“), Young Thug (“Stressed Out”), Joyner Lucas (“Your Heart“), and Benny The Butcher (“Johnny P’s Caddy“) in recent months. Cole’s new feature run follows his original promise that his 2019 single with Gang Starr would be the “last feature you’ll hear from me,” a remark he later retracted after some self-reflection, as revealed in his 2020 documentary, Applying Pressure: The Off-Season.
