YG and Lil Wayne connects on “Miss My Dawgs”.
YG is back with more new music as he enlists Lil Wayne for a brand new song titled “Miss My Dawgs” which is produced by Gibbo and Ambezza. The track is dedicated to his affiliate rapper Slim 400, who was shot and killed in LA last year.
“My dawg’s the one who ride for me / They gon’ charge me for a body, they gon’ slide for free / Wherever I be steppin’, they gon’ side with me,” he raps.
Prior to its release, YG revealed the new song on Instagram and dedicated it to Slim 400. “A year ago today around 9pm tonight I got a scandalous ass kall saying the homie was TT.I.P I ain’t wanna believe dat but that scandalous A*s sh*t end up being true,” YG wrote. “This song dedicated to Slim. I’m sorry bro. The gang miss you foo.”
This is YG’s first offering since his most recent album “I Got Issues” which was released in September with appearances from J. Cole, Nas, Post Malone and more.
