Rod Wave drops a new song “Forever Set In Stone”.
After recently assisting NBA YoungBoy on the song called “Everything Different“, Rod Wave returns with some of his own new material as he releases a brand new single called “Forever Set In Stone“. The MarsGawd produced track comes along with an official video.
Rod is seen on a treadmill in the accompanying trailer for “Forever Set In Stone,” which was shot by Eye 4 Production and reveals that he’s focused on improving his physical condition. The rest of the video shows him enjoying life in the Virgin Islands, going to the studio, flaunting his wealth, hanging out with his crew, expressing love to fans, and generally keeping things as stress-free as possible – despite the sorrow he expresses in his lyrics.
A couple of months ago, the Florida native dropped his latest album “Soulfly” which featured Polo G and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
For two weeks, SoulFly was the most pre-saved album on Apple Music. SoulFly opened at number one on the US Billboard 200 in its first week, with 130,000 album-equivalent units (including 4,000 pure album sales). It is Wave’s first number-one album on the Billboard 200.

SoulFly is the follow-up to last year’s Pray 4 Love (and its deluxe update), which was a huge hit and earned Rod Wave a Platinum rating. In 2020, he and his aforementioned colleague Polo G became the next XXL Freshman class, alongside Mulatto, Fivio Foreign, Jack Harlow, Lil Keed, NLE Choppa, and Lil Tjay.
