Meek Mill drops a new song “War Stories”.
Meek Mill returns with some new material as the Philadelphia rapper drops a new song called “War Stories“, and it comes along with an official video. The track samples the Isley Brother’s 1983′ hit “Ballad for the Fallen Soldier.” The sample has been used by several artists including DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, G Herbo, Jay-Z, and more. The music video is directed by Carters Vision, which features cameos from Bobby Shmurda and Lil Uzi Vert.
“Ni–a, you know we hit your man, when we seen you, you ain’t slide
Yeah, you slid and hit my dawg, but when you hit him, he ain’t die
That sh-t crazy, when you beefin’ with your man and them
I used to love you, but now it’s crazy, I wanna see you as stiff as a mannequin,” he raps.
Meek is shown riding in his Maybach, dining with his crew, and hitting up the club in the video created by Carters Vision. Bobby Shmurda and fellow Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert make cameo appearances in the video as well.
The track follows up Meek’s previous offering, the Lemon Pepper freestyle “Flamerz Flow” which dropped a couple of months ago.
