Lil Baby drops the “On Me” remix with Megan Thee Stallion.
After giving us “Real As It Gets” with EST Gee last month, Lil Baby continues releasing new material as the Atlanta Hitmaker teams up with Megan Thee Stallion for the remix of his song called “On Me“. The original version was released back in December, along with “Errbody“. He also dropped the official video for the remix.
The music video begins with Baby spitting his first line over a backdrop of a massive ice fortress and falling snowflakes, filmed by Mike Ho. The “Hot Girl Summer” energy kicks in after the first hook, with Meg standing tall on top of a smokey volcano, wearing a leather one-piece with lava designs.
The two musicians have also created a new video to accompany the release of the song, which is equal parts cold and scorching. Lil Baby has the ability to rap, yet Auto-Tune may make his rhymes foggy, and on “On Me,” he will not really really get into it. While singing all of her lines in a retro style, Megan, on the other side, clearly pronounces each word. She delivers little bit deeper than usual on the remix, easily surpassing Baby.
Lil Baby was previously featured on Young Thug’s Slime Language 2 album, which also contains heavyweight rappers like Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, and others.
